![Parents Ask If They’re Wrong For Not Leaving A Public Place Because Their Baby Was Crying](https://onlinenewsglobal.com/img/son-noise-fi-732x384.jpeg)
One sunny day, Reddit user OverallAssignment265 decided to treat his family to a cozy café near the park. With coffee and pastries in hand, they settled outside to enjoy the warm sun and their baby’s adorable babbling.
Their peaceful moment was disrupted by an older couple nearby who complained about the baby’s noise. Despite trying to keep their baby content with a quiet video, the couple persisted, even demanding OP and his family to leave. Feeling frustrated, OP defended his family’s right to enjoy the outdoor space, but things escalated when he called out the older lady’s attitude.

1. There are many things that come to mind just by reading the title, but let’s not jump ourselves and find out what happened.
2. OP, his wife, and their 8-month-old recently went out for a coffee at a public spot.
3. The couple was enjoying their coffee and the cute babbling of their son.
4. An older couple sitting next to them found the babbling of their baby rude and made a loud comment.
5. The lady then proceeded to ask OP if the couple could keep their son’s voice down.
6. In an effort, they put Ms. Rachel on at low volume, trying to divert his attention. The couple once again got approached by the old couple, who this time asked OP and his family to leave.
7. OP told the lady they were all in a public place, and she must expect noise at such spots.
8. The lady countered by saying she never brings her child out to such places whenever they make noise. OP told her to be ashamed of herself for doing such a thing.
Crazy! This is a public place. If they expect everyone to sit quietly so they can enjoy their meal, they are very wrong. People will talk, kids will babble, you cannot shut their mouths. If you have so much trouble with noise, then go sit in a private spot or stay home.
